The campus ministry of Cru at Westfield State has had a positive influence on many lives over many decades. (Since 1972?)

Students graduate about four years down the road, so, each year, Cru is what participating students are willing to make it. 

Since 2017 Cru at WSU has been hosted by some Ethnos360 missionaries who volunteer and are mentored long-distance by Cru staff in Florida. We have meet on campus and at the Smyth home one block west of the South Parking Lot of Westfield State University. 

The goal is to once again establish a thriving student-led ministry on campus that is vibrant, life-giving, and purposeful according to the Bible and the vision as outlined below. Each class of students has the opportunity for a large influence on the current student body and the underclassmen to invest in something that will last. 

Cru U.S.A. Campus Ministry’s Mission

            Cru WSU’s mission as part of the larger U.S. Campus Ministry is “to turn lost students into Christ-centered laborers.” Presently Cru is active on just over 1000 university campuses throughout the U.S.

            Compelled by the love of Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the vision of Cru at Westfield State University is to be a growing family of believers, who are deeply rooted in God’s Word & prayer. We are serious about leading other students to Christ, building good, holy, loving relationships with God and one another, and sending graduates into the world equipped and motivated to be Christ’s lifetime servants.
