The Global Theme of the Bible

God created all people for His eternal purposes. In other words, every person has been created to glorify God forever.

Before God created the world He had a plan.  Our sin, being unlike Him, has corrupted His perfectly good plan, which He has permitted for a limited time.  God’s plan has not been thwarted. God has provided a way for all people to reconciled to Him through God the Son, Jesus Christ.

The triune God is gracious to extend the message of His blessing and grace to all people, through those who have believed Him already. He will make His name great in every part of the earth. Every person has the responsibility to willingly respond in faith to the message of His blessing.

Some people will get with God’s plan. Most will not. Every person will be held accountable for their own choice. He will extend His blessing to every language, people group, family group, and ethnic group. Then He will establish perfect order after righteous judgment.

These quotes from the Bible will give a glimpse of His global goodness that is extended to all people. They show God’s intention, even command, that His people willingly embrace His plan so that their earthly lives will have purpose, meaning, and eternal effect.
